Which country is a bird?

The word turkey is the name of a large bird bred for food,what happens is that I was reading a book a couple of weeks ago,somewhere in the paragraph I realized that turkish is a language of turkey,turkish bath a period of sitting in a roomfilled with very hot air or steam,followed by washing and massage,besides turkish delight a sweet of flavoured gilatin coated in icing sugar.So I was very surprise and said oh what an awesome bird and my mrs said Turkey is the name of a country.
